complainants' costs in all judgments or decrees
thereafter recorded, rendered or passed in said
Court, the sum of five cents for each name
appearing as a party to such judgment or
decree, for the purpose of continuing said gen-
eral index; and it shall be the duty of the
Clerk entering or recording said judgments
and decrees, to index same as aforesaid.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That whenever any
of said judgments or decrees are satisfied, it

shall be the duty of the Clerk entering said
satisfaction, whether on order or on return of
"fieri facias," to note the said satisfaction on
said indexes where said judgments and de-
crees are indexed, in a blank for said purpose.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 104.
AN ACT to authorize the Governor to appoint
one additional Justice of the Peace for the
Second Election District, and two additional
Justices of the Peace for the Twelfth Elec-
tion District of Baltimore county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by tJie General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Governor be

and he is hereby authorized and empowered
to appoint one additional Justice of the Peace
for the Second Election District, and two ad-
ditional Justices of the Peace for the Twelfth
Election District of Baltimore county.

Effective.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
