note or notes and interest thereon are hereby
made liens on the assessable property of Wi-
comico county until paid.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 103.

AN ACT to provide for indexing judgments
and decrees in the dockets of the Circuit
Court for Queen Anne's county, from the
year eighteen hundred and seventy-four.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Queen Anne's county be and
he is hereby authorized to cause a general in-

dex of all judgments and decrees on the docket
of said Court outstanding and unsettled from
the beginning of the year eighteen hundred
and seventy-four, in the names of each and
every of the parties to such judgments or de-
crees to be made, under the system known as
the ''Campbell System ;" and shall be entitled
to receive therefor the sum of five cents for
each name in which said indexes are made,
to be paid for by the County Commissioners
of Queen Anne's county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County
