CHAPTER 73.

AN ACT to refund to Daniel H. Routzahn,
late Collector of State Taxes for Frederick
county, forty-three dollars and ninety-seven
cents, heretofore erroneously paid by him
into the Treasury of the State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That on the warrant of
the Comptroller, the Treasurer of the State is

hereby directed to pay to Daniel H. Routzahn.
late Collector of State Taxes for Frederick
county, the sum of forty-three dollars and
ninety-seven cents, being the amount due said
Daniel H. Routzahn, on the books of the Comp-
troller for over-payment into the Treasury of
the State, and which amount is by the said
Comptroller and Treasurer recommended to be
so paid.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 74.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Garrett county to make
certain payments for public printing in said
county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the County Commis-
sioners of Garrett county be and they are here-

by authorized and empowered to pay fair and
reasonable rates of compensation to the sev-
eral newspapers of the county for the public
advertisements appearing in said newspapers
during the fiscal year commencing on the first
day of June, eighteen hundred and eighty-five,
