CHAPTER 72.
AN ACT to pay to the Board of School Com-
missioners of Wicomico county a sum of
money paid by Stephen P. Toadvine, late
Clerk of the Circuit Court of Wicomico
county, into the Treasury of the State, to be
placed to the credit of the school fund for
said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon
the warrant of the Comptroller, is hereby
authorized and directed to pay to the Board of
School Commissioners of Wicomico county
the sum of one hundred and fifty-three dollars
paid into the State Treasury by Stephen P.
Toadvine, late Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Wicomico county, out of money received by

said Stephen P. Toadvine from fines imposed
for violations of chapter four hundred and
forty-seven of the acts passed at January ses-
sion eighteen hundred and eighty, entitled "an
act to protect oysters in the waters of Wi-
comico county;" said sum of one hundred
and fifty-three dollars having been paid into
the State Treasury on the fifth day of October,
eighteen hundred and eighty-one, and not hav-
ing been placed to the credit of the school
fund for said county, as provided for in section
six of chapter four hundred and forty-seven
of the acts passed by the General Assembly
of Maryland at January session eighteen hun-
dred and eighty.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
