said court shall, upon being satisfied thereof, forthwith

pass an order directing the sale of so much of said real

estate as may be necessary to pay said taxes and ex-

penses of said sale, in such manner and after such

|

notice as the said court may think proper to direct,

which said sale shall be reported to said court for rati-
|
|
|
|
fication, as all other sales made under decrees of courts
|
|
|
|
of equity, and when ratified and the purchase money
|
|
|
|
therefor shall have been fully paid, the said trustee or
|
|
|
|
trustees shall convey to the purchaser thereof said real
|
|
|
|
estate so as aforesaid sold, by good and sufficient deed.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of

|
|

Chapter 441.
|

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of
|
|
|
|
Worcester county to refund to John W. Staton cer-
|
|
|
|
tain sums of money erroneously paid into the county
|
|
|
|
treasury as county taxes.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the county commissioners of Wor-
|
|
|
|
cester county be and they are hereby authorized
|
|
|
|
and directed to pay to John W. Staton, of Worcester
|
|
|
|
county, the sum of fifty-six dollars and eighty-one
|
|
|
Pay to John W.
Stuton,
|
cents, being the sum of money erroneously paid into
|
|
|
|
the treasury of said county by the said John W. Sta-
|
|
|
|
ton for taxes on improper assessments of book accounts
|
|
|
|
for the years eighteen hundred and seventy-seven and
|
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, inclusive, of each
|
|
|
|
year.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
|
