Chapter 432.


AN ACT to enable the Mayor and City Council of


Baltimore to endorse or guarantee the second mort-


gage bonds of the Maryland Central Railroad Com-


pany to the amount of four hundred thousand dol-


lars.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the mayor and city council of
Baltimore be and it is hereby authorized and empow-


ered to endorse or guarantee the second mortgage

AN ACT to establish a uniform standard of time


throughout the State of Maryland.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

State of Maryland, shall be that of the seventy-fifth
meridian of longitude west from Greenwich, by which


all courts, banking institutions and public offices, and


all legal or official proceedings shall be regulated.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
