SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the said board of
|
|

governors, at the first meeting of said board, and an-
|
|
|

nually thereafter, shall organize said board by the
|

election of a president, who shall be chosen from

among the members of said board elected by the said

Maryland annual conference, and shall have power to

|

adopt and enforce a constitution and such by-laws,

|

rules and regulations not inconsistent with the consti-

|
|
tution or laws of this state or of the United States, as
|
|
|
|
may be deemed advisable for the government of the
|
Powers.

|
business and affairs of said corporation, and for the
|
|
|
|
regulation of the action of said board, its officers and
|
|
|
|
agents, in the discharge of its and their duties in fully
|
|
|
|
executing and carrying into effect the objects, intents
|
|
|
|
and purposes of this act.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That said board of gov-

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That the president of the

said board of governors, with the other members of
|

shall constitute the local or executive board of said
|
|
|
|
governors, and shall discharge all the duties of the
|
|
|
|
entire board during the interim of its session.

|
SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this act of incorpo-
|
|
|
|
ration and every part thereof shall be good and avail-
|
|
|
|
able in all things in the law, according to the true in-
|
|
|
|
tent and meaning thereof, and shall be construed, re-
|
|
|
|
puted and judged in all cases most favorably and for
|
Good in all law.

|
the best benefit of the said board of governors and
|
|
|
|
their successors so as most effectually to answer the
|
|
|
|
valuable end of this incorporation to the promotion of
|
|
|
|
the ends and purposes of said corporation as herein
|
|
|
|
provided.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
