	Chapter 396.
	AN ACT to add a sub-section to section one hundred
	and twenty-six of article sixteen of the Code of
	Public General Laws, title " Chancery," sub-title
	" Sales," as amended by chapter three hundred and
	sixty, of the acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-
	four, to provide for proof of claims against the real
	estate of deceased debtors.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That the following sub-section, to be
	known and designated as sub-section one hundred and	Snb-section ad
	twenty-six A, be added to section one hundred and	ded.
	twenty-six of article sixteen of the Code of Public
	General Laws, title " Chancery," sub-title " Sales,"
	as amended by chapter three hundred and sixty, of
	the acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-four.
	126 A. The claims against the persons so dying
	shall be proven and filed in the clerk's office of the	Claims — where
	county in which the proceedings are instituted, or	proven.
	where the real estate lies as now required by law ;
	provided that the certificate of the register of wills of
	the said county to the proof of such claims or distri-
	bution thereto in the orphans' court of said county,
	out of the proceeds of the personal property of said
	deceased debtor, shall be prima facie evidence of such	Evidence.

	debtor, unless the same be excepted to by some person
	interested in said estate.
