Chapter 280.


AN ACT granting the assent of the General Assembly


of Maryland to the several bequests to the charit-


able and benevolent institutions named in the last


will and testament of Rachel C. Boyer, late of Bal-


timore city, deceased.


SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the assent of the General Assem-


bly of Maryland be and the same is hereby given to


the following bequests to the charitable and benev-


olent institutions named in the last will and testament


of Rachel C. Boyer, late of Baltimore city, deceased,


duly probated and recorded among the testamentary


records in the orphans' court for Baltimore city, viz :


To the Baltimore Orphan Asylum, on Stricker street,

Assent given to
bequest's.

the sum of three thousand dollars; to the Union Prot-


estant Infirmary of Baltimore, corner of Mosher and


Division streets, the sum of three thousand dollars; to


the Home of the Friendless, corner of Druid Hill ave-


nue and Townsend street, the sum of three thousand


dollars; and to the Young Men's Christian Associa-


tion of Baltimore, corner of Charles and Saratoga


streets, the rest, residue and remainder of the estate,


after the payment of the above and other legacies


named in said last will and testament.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
