Chapter 269.


AN ACT to add a supplement to the act of eighteen


hundred and seventy, chapter four hundred and


seventy -two, relating to the charter of Denton, and


to provide for erection of lodge rooms and town


hall on the public grounds.


WHEREAS it is represented that the members of


Temple Lodge, number one hundred and twenty-


eight, A. F. and A. M., desire to rebuild the lodge

tion therewith to erect a building that can be used as


a town hall and for other purposes : therefore —


SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That Jonathan W. Kerr, Robert J.


Jump, Richard T. Carter, Thomas C. West and James


Swann, as trustees and managers, and their successors


to be appointed as hereinafter provided, shall forever
