session, eighteen hundred and eighty-two, chapter

ninety-one.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said Washington

and Atlantic Railroad Company is hereby authorized

and empowered to borrow money upon the faith and

credit of said corporation, to an amount not exceeding
