Chapter 344.


AN ACT to provide for a state subscription to


Brantly's annonated edition of the Law and Equity


Reports of Maryland.


WHEREAS the greater part of the original edition


of the Law and Equity Reports of Maryland, prior to


the year eighteen hundred and fifty one, is out of


print; and whereas most of the courts of this state


are not provided with copies of the said reports; and


whereas no sets of the said reports arc now in the

Preamble.

state library available for distribution; and whereas


a new annonated edition of the said reports is now


being published, which edition has been commended


by a majority of the judges of the court of appeals,


by a majority of the associate judges of the circuit


courts, and by a majority of the judges of the supreme


bench of Baltimore city.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the state librarian be and he is


hereby authorized and directed to subscribe in the

McHenry to ninth Gill, inclusive, and of the seven

of one hundred copies of each of the said twenty-one
