payable to the " Commissioners of Charities and Cor-


rections," in the penalty of one thousand dollars, con-


ditioned as follows, to wit : " The condition of the above


obligation is such, that if the above bound A. B., as


overseer or keeper of the alms or poor house in Frede-


rick county, and manager of the farm connected there-


with, shall well and truly discharge his duties in said


station, then the above obligation to be void, otherwise


to remain in full force and virtue in law."


SEC. 14. They shall, in January in each year, appoint


one of their own members treasurer of the commis-


sioners of charities and corrections of Frederick county,


who shall collect and receive all moneys appropriated


for the use and benefit of the almshouse, and for the
