whereas serious loss and inconvenience may result to
|
|
|
|
the above-named persons and the public generally,
|
|
|
|
from the illegality of the official acts and proceedings
|
|
|
|
of said Browning as aforesaid; therefore —
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the acts and proceedings of Rich-
|
|
|
|
ard T. Browning, as one of the justices of the peace
|
|
|
|
of the State of Maryland, in and for Garrett county,
|
|
|
|
during the period in which he acted as such justice,
|
|
|
|
and failed to qualify for the same as required by the
|

valil.
|
|
|
constitution and laws of the State of Maryland, be
|
|
|
|
and the same are hereby made as valid, and to have
|
|
|
|
the same effect and operation in law, as if the said
|
|
|
|
Richard T. Browning had qualified as such justice in
|
|
|
|
accordance with the law during the period aforesaid.
|
|
|
|
