Chapter 305.

AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General
|
|
|
|
Assembly of Maryland to certain bequests contained
|
|
|
|
in the last will and testament of William G. Harri-
|
|
|
|
son, deceased.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That the sanction of the General
|
|
|
|
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby
|
|
|
|
given to the following bequests, and each of them,
|
|
|
|
contained in the last will and testament of William
|
|
|
|
G. Harrison, late of Baltimore city, deceased, which
|
|
|
|
will bears date eighteenth day of December, eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and eighty, and is recorded in the office
|
|
|
Sanction given
|
of the register of wills of Baltimore city, that is to
|
|
|
to bequests.
|
say : a bequest of fifteen thousand dollars to the
|
|
|
|
vestry of St. Luke's Church; a bequest of ten thous-
|
|
|
|
and dollars to the Church Home and Infirmary of
|
|
|
|
Baltimore city; a bequest of five thousand dollars to
|
|
|
|
the vestry of St. Paul's Parish, of which the Rev'd
|
|
|
|
J. S. B. Hodges is now rector; a bequest of five
|
|
|
|
thousand dollars to the convention of the Protestant
|
|
|
|
Episcopal Church of the diocese of Maryland, and a
|
|
|
|
bequest of five thousand dollars to the trustees of the
|
|
|
|
College of St. James.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act
|
|
|
Effective.
|
shall take effect from the date of its passage.
|
|
|
|
