	Chapter 204.
	AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to refurnish
	the Comptroller's office with suitable desks and the
	necessary cases requisite for the proper preservation
	of the books and papers in said office, and for
	carpeting the same.
	WHEREAS the cases for the preservation of books
	and papers of the comptroller's office are utterly inade-
	quate for that purpose, and the desks, with but one	Preamble.
	single exception, are worthless, the office being sadly
	in need of refurnishing; therefore —
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That the comptroller of the treasury be and is hereby authorized to have the said office	Refurnish of-

	SEC 2. Be it enacted, That the sum of one thous-
