	Chapter 202.
	AN ACT to add a new section to article thirty of
	the Code of Public General Laws of the State of
	Maryland, title " Crimes and Punishments," relat-
	ing to the fraudulent removing, secreting, destroy-
	ing or selling of mortgaged personal property by
	the mortgagor thereof.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
	of Maryland, That the following section he added to	Additional sec- tion added.
	article thirty of the Code of Public General Laws,
	title " Crimes and Punishments :"
	75 B. A mortgagor of personal property, in posses-
	sion of the same, who, without the consent of the
	owners of the claim, secured by said mortgage, first
	had and obtained in writing from said owner, and
	with intent to defraud, removes any of the property	When deemed
	mortgaged out of the county or city where it was	guilty of a mis-
	situated at the time it was mortgaged, or secretes,	demeanor.
	destroys or sells the same, shall be deemed guilty of a
	misdemeanor, and on indictment therefore, and con-
	viction thereof, shall be fined not more than five hun-
	dred dollars, or imprisoned in jail not more than six
	months, or both, in the discretion of the court.
