AN ACT to provide for the recording of authenti-


cated copies of last Wills and Testaments of which


the originals and the original were destroyed by the


burning of the Court House of Dorchester county,


in the month of May, in the year eighteen hundred


and fifty-two.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That the register of wills of Dorchester


county be and he is hereby authorized and directed,


upon application, and at the expense of any person


interested, to record in a well-bound book used or kept


in his office for that purpose, the copy of any last will


and testament, or of the record thereof, together with


all the certificates thereon, which appear to have been
