SEC. 120. The burgess and commissioners shall make

the annual levy of taxes at their regular meeting in May

SEC. 124. The said collector of taxes shall report in

ing of said burgess and commissioners, together with

SEC. 125. It shall be the duty of the town clerk to

be present at all the meetings of the burgess and com-
|
|
|
|
missioners; he shall keep a correct record of their pro-
|
|
|
|
ceedings and an account of all their financial transac-
|
|
|
|
tions; he shall enter all ordinances passed by the bur-
|

a book kept by him for that purpose; and the books

of said corporation shall be open for the inspection of
|
|
|
|
any taxpayer at all times, and copies of all ordinances

shall be put up in the most public places of said town.

SEC. 128. Should the bailiff arrest any person for
|
|
|
|
violating any ordinance of this corporation, or provi-
|
|
|
|
sions of this charter, he shall carry such offender before
