(b) Any person, firm, corporation or association desir-
ing a license for the sale of beverages authorized to be sold
under this Act shall file with said Board an application
therefor in such form as the Board may prescribe. The
application shall designate the kind of license desired and
shall contain the following information: First, the name
and residence of the applicant or applicants, and that he
or they have been residents of Prince George's County for
at least one year. Second, the particular place for which
a license is desired, designating the same by street and
number if practicable, if not, by such other apt description
as definitely locates it. Third, the name of the owner of
the premises upon which the business to be licensed is to
be carried on. Fourth, a statement that the applicant or
applicants are citizens of the United States and not less
than twenty-one years of age, and that such applicant or
applicants have never been convicted of a felony, or been
adjudged guilty of violating the laws for the prevention of
gambling in Prince George's County. Fifth, in the case of
a corporation or an association desiring a license, the ap-
plication shall state, in addition to the other information
required by this section, the names of the officers, stock-
holders and/or members of said corporation or association,
that they are citizens of the United States, not less than
twenty-one years of age, have never been convicted of a
felony, or been adjudged guilty of violating the laws for
the prevention of gambling in Prince George's County.
Sixth, that he, it or they intend to carry on and will con-
duct the business authorised by the license for himself,
itself or themselves and not as an agent or agents for any
other person, corporation or association if said license is
granted. Seventh, that the applicant or applicants intend
to superintend in person the management of the business.
Eighth, this application must be verified by the affidavit
of the petitioner or petitioners made before a Notary Pub-
lic or other person duly authorized by law to administer
oaths. If any false statement is made in any part of said
application, the applicant or applicants shall be deemed
guilty of perjury, and upon conviction thereof the license
shall be revoked and the applicant or applicants subjected
to the penalties provided by law at that time. Before the
license is issued, the Board shall satisfy themselves of the
moral character and financial responsibility of the appli-
cant or applicants, appropriateness of the place where such
licensed business is to be conducted, taking into considera-
tion the number of such licenses already issued, and gen-
