thirteen election districts of Montgomery County for the
purpose of determining whether or not the beverages
mentioned in said Senate Bill No. 316 shall be sold in
said districts; providing a method of calling said elec-
tions, the provisions for the holding of the same, how
the costs thereof shall be defrayed and designating the
qualifications of those entitled to vote at said special
elections; providing that the provisions of the Public
Local Laws governing the several districts of said county
relating to the sub-title referred to herein and which are
repealed by said Senate Bill No. 316, shall again become
operative and be in force in the event that the voters
at a special election held in any one of said districts may
vote to exempt said district from the provisions of said
Bill, and providing further that the referendum election
above referred to shall not apply to a bona fide Country
Club located in said county at the time of the passage
of this Act providing said Country Club maintains at
least (1) one nine-hole golf course, (2) two or more
tennis courts, and (3) a swimming pool or any two of
such three recreational activities and that said Club has
a bona fide membership of at least one hundred of which
more than fifty per cent. (50%) thereof are non-resi-
dents of Montgomery County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That on any date after September 1, 1933, the
Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery County
are authorized and empowered to revoke any license issued
under the terms of Senate Bill 316 as enacted at the 1933
session of the Maryland General Assembly upon the con-
viction of the licensees or any employee of the licensee for
the violation of any law Federal, State or local, covering
the sale of beverages or upon the conviction of the licensee,
any employee of the licensee or any customer of the licensee
for disorderly conduct committed on the premises of the
licensee.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That from January
1, 1934, through May 1, 1934, twenty per cent (20%) of
the registered voters of any of the following voting sub-
divisions of Montgomery County may petition the Board
of Election Supervisors in Montgomery County for a local
option referendum vote to exempt that election district or
group of election precincts so designated as a local option
group from the operation of Senate Bill No. 316 enacted
at the 1933 session of the General Assembly.
