SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the unconstitu-
tionally of any one or more of the aforegoing provisions
or sections shall not be construed as invalidating the other
provisions of this Act.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or
parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 465.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
87 of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Garrett County", sub-
title "County Commissioners", authorizing the Board of
County Commissioners of Garrett County to remove its
Clerk for inefficiency and limiting the compensation of
said Clerk.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 87 of Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Gar-
rett County", sub-title "County Commissioners", be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to
read as follows:
87. At the General Election of County officers of Gar-
rett County, to be held in said County November, 1917, and
every four years thereafter, a Clerk to the Board of County
Commissioners shall be elected by the qualified voters of
said County who shall hold office of Clerk for the term of
four years from the time of his election and qualification or
until his successor is elected and qualified and shall be sub-
jected to removal from said office for inefficiency or for
any wilful neglect of duty or misbehavior in office at any
time by the County Commissioners of said County, who
shall have power to appoint some competent person for the
unexpired term of the Clerk so removed, said Clerk shall
