said license or fee shall be the only license or tax required
for the ownership or keeping of said dog or dogs. Such
license shall be issued on a form prepared and supplied by
the County Commissioners. Such license shall be dated
and numbered, and shall contain a" description of the dog
licensed.. All licenses shall be void upon the first day of July
of the following year. The County Commissioners shall also
furnish, and the County Treasurer, or Justice of the, Peace
issuing the license shall issue, with each license, a metal
tag. Such tag shall be affixed to a substantial collar. The
collar shall be furnished by the owner, and with the tag
attached shall at all times be kept on the dog for which
the license is issued, except when confined in the kennel
or when hunting 'in charge of an attendant.

144B. The Justice of the Peace of Frederick County
shall be entitled to receive and collect a fee of one dollar
($1. 00) for each appointment of appraisers under the pro-
visions of Section 272 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1929 Supplement).

144C. Any person violating or refusing to comply with
any of the provisions of this section or of Sections 267 to
272, both inclusive, of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1929 Supplement), shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction thereof before any Justice
of the Peace of Frederick County, or in the Circuit Court
of said county, shall be fined a sum of not less than twenty
dollars nor more than one hundred dollars or shall be im-
prisoned in the county jail for not more than three months,
or shall be both fined and imprisoned in the discretion of
the court. It shall be the duty of the State's Attorney, the
Sheriff and the constables of said county to prosecute all
persons found violating the law by refusing to comply with
its provisions.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such incon-
sistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.
