and he shall be entitled to a salary of Ten Hundred and
Eighty Dollars ($1, 080. 00) a year which salary shall be
in full for any and all services rendered by said Transfer
Clerk and Auditor.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 414.

AN ACT to add three new sections to Article 11 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Frederick County, " to be under sub-title "Dogs, "
said new sections to be known as Sections 144A, 144B
and 144C, and to follow immediately after Section 144
of said Article, to provide for the issuance of dog licenses
in said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That three new sections be and they are hereby
added to Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County, " to be
under sub-title "Dogs, " said new sections to be known as
Sections 144A, 144B and 144C, to follow immediately after
Section 144 of said Article, and to read as follows:

DOGS.

144A. On or before the first day of July, 1933, and on
or before the first day of July of each year thereafter, the
owner of any dog, six months old or over, shall apply either
orally or in writing, to the County Treasurer of Frederick
County or to a Justice of the Peace of any district in said
county for a license for each such dog owned or kept by
him, and such application shall be accompanied by a fee
of one dollar ($1. 00) for each male dog or each spayed
female dog, and a fee of five dollars ($5. 00) for each un-
spayed female dog, and provided that a kernel license shall
be jssued for fifteen dollars ($15. 00) to persons owning
or keeping not in excess of twenty-five dogs and that a
kennel license fee of twenty-five dollars ($25. 00) shall be
issued to persons keeping more than twenty-five dogs. The
