the land record from which said plat shall have been re-
moved the plat book number and folio to which said plat
shall have been transferred.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law necessary for the
immediate preservation of public health and safety and
being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 413.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
316, 317 and 318 of Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince
George's County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, "
decreasing the compensation of the Clerk to the County
Commissioners, the Deputy Clerk, the Road Clerk, and
the Transfer Clerk and Auditor.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 316, 317 and 318 of Article 17 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Prince George's County, " sub-title "County
Commissioners, " be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, to read as follows:
316. The Clerk to the County Commissioners of said
County shall be entitled to an annual salary of twenty-two
hundred and fifty dollars ($2, 250); and the County Com-
missioners are hereby forbidden to increase said salary or
to give any extra compensation to the said Clerk for any
work he may do in his office.
317. They may annually appoint a Deputy Clerk to
assist the Clerk to the County Commissioners, who before
entering upon the duties of his office shall take oath and
give bond in the penalty of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10, -
