the seal of said County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County shall be affixed to each note and the interest coupons
thereto attached, if any, shall be authenticated by the fac-
simile signature of the Treasurer of said County, printed,
engraved or lithographed thereon. Said notes shall be
dated at such times as may be determined by said County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel County and shall mature
and be payable at such time or times not later than June
1, 1935, as said County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County may elect and determine.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That in the event said
County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County elect to
issue notes at any time for the sum or sums so borrowed,
said notes shall be issued and sold in such manner, either
at public sale or by private negotiation, and they shall bear
such rate of interest and shall be in such form and payable
at such time or times as said County Commissioners of
Anne Arundel County may, in their sole discretion, deter-
mine, it being the intent of this Act to authorize and em-
power said County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County
to borrow upon the faith and credit of said County such
sums not exceeding in the aggregate at any one time out-
standing the total sum of $750, 000. 00 to pay said indebted-
ness of said County so evidenced by said notes matur-
ing during the year 1933 or any renewal or renewals of all
or any part of said notes upon such terms and conditions
and in such manner as said County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County may determine, to the end that no default
occur in connection with said notes of the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel County now outstanding or any
renewal or renewals at any time of the indebtedness evi-
denced thereby. '

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That in the event said
County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County in their
sole discretion on or before June 1, 1935, determine to issue
and sell coupon bonds to provide funds for the payment of
said floating indebtedness of Anne Arundel County now
evidenced by said notes of the County Commissioners of
Anne Arundel County due to mature during the year 1933
or of any renewal or renewals of said notes, or any notes
issued under the provisions of this Act or any renewal or
renewals thereof, then said County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County are hereby authorized and empowered so
to do; and said County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County are hereby authorized and empowered to borrow
