Article 3, same sections), be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on and after the first day of June, 1933.

CHAPTER 388.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
126 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County, " sub-
title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks, " and to repeal
Sections 128, 129 and 130 of said Article, relating to
licenses to sell spirituous or fermented liquors.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 126 of Article 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's Coun-
ty", sub-title "'Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks, " be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read
as follows:
126. The applicant for a license to sell spirituous or
fermented liquors of any kind whatsoever, containing more
than 8% of alcohol by volume, shall pay to the Clerk of the
Circuit Court upon the issuing of such license the sum of
two hundred and twenty-five ($225) dollars for one year
or such pro rata part of said sum for a shorter period,
which the Clerk shall pay over to the County Commission-
ers of St. Mary's County to be used for general County
purposes. The applicant for a license to sell wine, beer or
other spirituous or fermented beverages, containing less
than 8% of alcohol by volume, shall pay of the Clerk of the
Circuit Court upon the issuing of such license the sum of
twenty-five ($25) dollars for one year or such pro rata
part of said sum for a shorter period, which the Clerk shall
pay over to the County Commissioners of St. Mary's
County to be used for general County purposes.
Provided, however, that Section 125 of this Article shall
not apply to applications for license to sell any of the above
mentioned beverages containing less than 8% of alcohol
