and the rights, titles and interests of the said Mayor and
Council of Pocomoke City in connection therewith and in
respect thereto, unto The Maryland Light and Power Com-
pany, a Maryland corporation, at and for the sum of Two
Thousand Dollars ($2, 000).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said Mayor
and Council of Pocomoke City, upon payment of the afore-
said purchase price, be and it is hereby authorized and
empowered to grant, convey, transfer and assign the said
ornamental street lighting system, and the equipment, ma-
terials and supplies comprising the same, and the right,
titles and interests of the said Mayor and Council of Poco-
moke City in connection therewith and in respect thereto,
unto the said The Maryland Light and Power Company,
its successors and assigns.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and the same being passed by a yea and nay vote supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, shall take effect upon
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 33.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
325 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's
County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " sub-heading
"Tax Levy, " extending the time for the annual levy for
State and County taxes by the County Commissioners of
Prince George's County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 325 of Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County, " sub-title "County Commission-
ers, " sub-heading "Tax Levy, " be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
