Tax Levy.
325. The county commissioners shall lay their annual
levy for State and county taxes on or before the last Mon-
day in April in the year 1933 and on or before the last Mon-
day in March in each and every year thereafter.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
being passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 34.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Garrett County to pay four hundred dollars ($400. 00)
to the Friendsville Volunteer Fire Department in the
years 1933 and 1934, and to levy the aforesaid sum
upon the assessable property of said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Garrett
County be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
pay to the Friendsville Volunteer Fire Department the
sum of four hundred dollars ($400. 00) for maintenance in
the years 1933 and 1934, and to levy the aforesaid sum
upon the assessable property of said county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.
