such publication in a county newspaper, the Board of
County Commissioners of Garrett County and the Board of
Education of Garrett County, either jointly or separately,
may publish or set forth in pamphlet form the annual
statements herein required, the same to toe given or sent
to any citizen of the county upon application therefor.

Violation of this Act on the part of any of the aforesaid
officials shall render them liable to a penalty of not less
than fifty dollars and not more than one hundred dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 331.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
342 and 343 of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Garrett
County, " sub-title "Loch Lynn Heights, " relating to the
nomination of candidates for town officers.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 342 and 343 of Article 12 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Garrett County, " sub-title "Loch Lynn Heights, " be
and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:

342. All persons of the age of twenty-one years and
upwards, who have resided within the corporate limits for
six months next preceding any election of officers for this
corporation and who are qualified to vote for members of
the General Assembly of Maryland shall be entitled to vote
at such election. The elective officers of said town shall
be a Mayor, Clerk, Treasurer, Chief Bailiff and four Coun-
cilmen, all of whose terms shall be for two years, two of
said Councilmen to be elected annually. No person shall
be eligible to the office of Mayor or Councilman unless he
is a citizen of said town, is qualified to vote for members
of the General Assembly of Maryland and has title to real
estate within the corporate limits of said town, and has
been duly nominated for said office at a public meeting or
meetings held in said town by the citizens thereof not less
