and desire to have the official issuing such permits to also
issue the permits required by this act, then, in that event,
such town official is hereby authorized to issue on behalf of
and in the name of the County Commissioners of said
county the said permits upon proper application therefor
as aforesaid and the payment of the said fee, such permits
when issued by such town official shall be in quadruplicate,
one copy to the applicant, one to be sent to the Clerk to the
County Commissioners of Calvert County, one to be sent
to the Supervisor of Assessments of Calvert County and
one to be retained by the town official issuing the permit.
Of the fee of one dollar ($1) for each permit fifty cents
(50c) shall be retained by the town official issuing the per-
mit, and the remainder thereof shall be paid over within
five days after its receipt by him to the Clerk of the County
Commissioners of said county.

86B. Any person, firm or corporation erecting or con-
structing any new building of a greater value than one
hundred dollars ($100), or reconstructing, remodeling or
repairing any existing building where the cost thereof shall
exceed two hundred dollars ($200) without first obtaining
a permit as provided for in this sub-title, shall forfeit and
pay to the County Commissioners for Calvert County a fine
or penalty of twenty-five dollars ($25), said fine or penalty
to be a lien on the building and to be collected by the said
County Commissioners in an action of debt brought in their
name before any Justice of the Peace of said county or by
proceedings in equity for the enforcement of such lien.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 308.

AN ACT to add 26 new sections to Article 20 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Somerset County, " sub-title "Princess Anne, " said new
sections to be known as 317A, 317B, 317C, 317D, 317E,
317F, 317G, 317H, 3171, 317J, 317K, 317L, 317M, 317N,
3170, 317P, 317Q, 317R, 317S, 317T, 317U, 317V, 317W,
317X, 317Y, 317Z and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 317 of said Article, to authorize the appointment by
