CHAPTER 21.
AN ACT to authorize the Burgess and Commissioners of
Clearspring, Maryland, to construct, operate and main-
tain a system of water works and sewerage for the use
and benefit of the inhabitants of Clearspring, in Wash-
ington County, and immediate vicinity thereof, and to
issue and sell bonds to pay the costs for acquisitions
and purchases therefor and the construction thereof,
and to repeal Chapter 81 of the Acts of 1931, entitled
"An Act to authorize the Burgess and Commissioners
of Clearspring, Maryland, to construct, operate and
maintain a system of water works and sewerage for the
use and benefit of the inhabitants of Clearspring, in
Washington County, and immediate vicinity thereof, and
to issue and sell bonds to pay the cost for acquisitions
and purchases therefor and the construction thereof. "

CHAPTER 22.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County, " sub-title "Hagerstown, " to be
under sub-heading "Washington County Home for Or-
phan and Friendless Children, " said new section to be
known as Section 414A and to follow immediately after
Section 414 of said Article, authorizing the Mayor and
Council of Hagerstown to enter into a contract with the
Washington County Home for Orphan and Friendless
Children to contribute a certain sum of money to its
support and maintenance and to levy taxes sufficient to
provide the amount required by such contract.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Washington County, " sub-title
"Hagerstown, " to be under sub-heading "Washington
County Home for Orphan and Friendless Children, " said
new section to be known as Section 414A, to follow immedi-
ately after Section 414 of said Article, and to read as fol-
lows:
