note or notes issued under the provisions of Section 63A,
either at public or private sale, for the most money it can
obtain for the same, provided that no private sale of said
note or notes shall be for less than par, and if at public
sale, under such conditions as said County Commissioners
of Worcester County may prescribe.
63C. In order to pay the said note or notes which may
be issued from time to time hereunder, together with the
interest thereon, the County Commissioners of Worcester
County are hereby authorized and directed to pay the same
out of the taxes collected in said County in the year in
which said note or notes may, from time to time, be issued
and/or fall due, and if the taxes so collected as aforesaid
shall be insufficient for the purpose, the said County Com-
missioners of Worcester County are hereby authorized and
directed to levy upon all the assessable property in said
County a sum sufficient to pay the said note or notes, with
all interest accrued thereon.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 8.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 20 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Somerset County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, "
said section to be known as Section 34A and to follow
immediately after Section 34 of said Article, authorizing
and empowering the County Commissioners of Somerset
County, to borrow money on the uncollected tax levies
due the said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
