and shall bear such rate of interest as said County Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel County may determine prior
to the issue thereof, but that the aggregate principal
amount of such notes at any one time outstanding and
unpaid shall not exceed Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($200, 000. 00).
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose
of repaying any money borrowed under the provisions of
this act and the notes issued in evidence thereof and the
interest thereon when due and payable, said County Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel County shall levy a tax upon
all of the assessable property in said County sufficient to
provide funds for the payment of all such sums when due
and payable.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of public health and safety
and, having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 7.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 305 of the Acts of 1927 and
Chapter 140 of the Acts of 1931 and to add three new
sections to Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, " said new sections to
be known as Sections 63A, 63B and 63C and to follow
immediately after Section 63 of said Article, to author-
ize the County Commissioners of Worcester County to
borrow, on the faith and credit of said County, when-
ever, from time to time, the amount of taxes collected
in Worcester County shall be insufficient for the main-
tenance and current expenses of public schools of Wor-
cester County and/or insufficient to meet the current
expenses of Worcester County, a sum of money not ex-
ceeding One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars
($150, 000. 00), for the maintenance and current expenses
