lowing the name of the candidate; and immediately under
the name of the candidate or candidates for Mayor shall be
printed a black line extending to a square on which the
voter may insert in writing the name of a candidate for
Mayor, if he so desires, which name may not already be
printed on the ballot, and also on such ballot shall appear
the name or names of the candidate or candidates for
Councilmen arranged alphabetically, and immediately fol-
lowing the words "For Councilman, " shall be printed on
said ballot, and preceding the name or names of the candi-
date or candidates shall be plainly printed in black ink a
direction to the voters "Vote for one by making a cross
(X) mark in that square which is opposite the name of
the candidate to be voted for, " and a black line shall be
printed immediately under the name of each candidate ex-
tending to a square opposite the name of the candidate and
immediately under the names of the candidates or candi-
date there shall be printed a black line extending to a
square on which the voter may insert in writing the name
of a candidate for Councilman, if he so desires, which name
may not already be printed on the ballot.
There shall be a separate ballot for each ward, and the
ballots of no two wards shall be printed on the same color
paper.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.
