Article was enacted by Chapter 340, Acts of 1927 and
Chapter 568, Acts of 1927, and amended and re-enacted
by Chapter 366, Acts of 1929, and Chapter 416, Acts of
1929, and Chapter 420, Acts of 1929, and Chapter 557,
Acts of 1929, and Chapter 528, Acts of 1931, and Chapter
543, Acts of 1931.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 14, 20, 29, 34, 35, Paragraph A
of Section 38, Paragraph B of Section 40, Section 56, Para-
graph B of Section 59 and Section 73 of Article 99 of the

Annotated Code of Maryland (1929 Supplement), title
"Water Fowl, Birds and Game"; sub-titles "Hunter's
License, " "Upland and Migratory Game Birds and Game
Animals, Bag Limits and Export of Game, " "Song and In-
sectivorous Birds, " "Field Trials, " "Waterfowl and Migra-
tory Birds. Use of Boats Prohibited. Blinds, " "Susque-
hanna Flats, " "Otter, Muskrat, Raccoon and Opossum, " and
"Elk and Deer, " be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments to read as follows:

Section 14. For the purpose of providing a fund for the
payment of the expenses of protecting and propagating
certain birds and animals, and preventing unauthorized
persons from killing the same, no person or persons shall
at any time hunt in any manner any game birds or animals
on which there is an open and closed season, without first
having procured a license so to hunt, and then only during
the respective periods of the year when it shall be lawful
to hunt said birds and animals. The said license shall be
procured from the Clerk of the Circuit Court of any
county, or from the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas
of Baltimore City, in the following manner, to wit:

The applicant shall fill out, sign and forward to the Clerk
of the Court a blank application to be furnished by the
Game Warden through the clerks of said courts, stating the
name, age, color, height, color of eyes and hair, occupation
and place of residence of the applicant; application for any
such license may be made through the mails. The appli-
cant, if a non-resident of the State of Maryland, shall pay
to the Clerk of the Court in which he files his or her appli-
cation, the sum of Fifteen Dollars ($15. 00) as a license
fee; the applicant, if a non-resident of the State of Mary-
land, shall pay to the Clerk of the Court in which he files
his or her application, the sum of Five ($5) Dollars as a
