demeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine
of not less than ten nor more than twenty-five dollars for
the first offense, and upon conviction of a second offense,
shall be subject to a fine of not less than twenty-five nor
more than one hundred dollars and removal from office.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1933.

CHAPTER 85.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
84 of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition) title "Garrett County, " sub-
title "County Commissioners, " as said section was
amended by Chapter 210 of the Acts of 1931, decreasing
the compensation of the County Commissioners of Gar-
rett County and eliminating the provisions as to mileage.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 84 of Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition) title
"Garrett County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " as
said section was amended by Chapter 210 of the Acts of
1931, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:
84. The County Commissioners of Garrett County
hereafter elected to said office, shall receive for their
services as such Commissioners, an annual salary of nine
hundred ($900. 00) dollars each, payable in monthly in-
stallments. When it is necessary for said Commissioners
to leave the county for the proper transaction of the busi-
ness of the county, they shall be entitled to receive as a
body, their actual traveling expenses. The above salary
and transportation allowances, shall be in lieu of all other
compensation and expenses.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That while it is not
the intention of this Act that the salary reduction shall
apply to the Commissioners now in office, it is the intention
