or banks as he may from time to time select. For the
safekeeping and forthcoming, when required, of said de-
posits, the said depository bank or banks shall be required
to deposit with the Bank Commissioner, bonds of the
United States or of the State of Maryland or any county
or municipality thereof, in the full amount of said deposits.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is an
emergency law and necessary for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public health and safety, and for maintaining
the State Government, and having been passed by a yea
and nay vote by three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 570.

AN ACT to add six new sections to Article 13 of the Code
of Public, Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Harford County, ", to be under sub-title "Itinerant
Dealers, " said new sections to be known as Sections
400A, 400B, 400C, 400D, 400E, and 400F and to follow:
immediately after Section 400 of said Article, licensing
and regulating the business activities of the retail
dealers within the limits of Harford County who are
without established places of business therein and en-
gaged in the sale, of fruits, vegetables, eggs, meats,
poultry and/or game, and providing penalties for the
violations thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That six, new sections be, and they are hereby
added to Article 13 of the Code of. Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Harford County, " to be
under, sub-title "Itinerant Dealers, " said new sections to
be known as Sections 400A, 400B, 400C, 400D, 400E, and
400F, to follow, immediately, after Section 400 of said
Article, and to read as follows:

ITINERANT DEALERS.

400A. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, asso-
ciation or corporation to conduct or operate the business
