Reservation

Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That this act of in-
corporation shall be subject to the provisions and
restrictions of any general law that may be passed
in this State for the incorporation of steamboat
companies.

In force.

Sec. 11. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT to amend the Act of eighteen hundred
and twenty-six, chapter one hundred and twen-
ty-three, entitled, an Act to incorporate the Bal-
timore and Ohio Railroad Company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the provisions of the first sec-
tion of the Act of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at December session, eighteen hun-
dred and thirty-six, chapter eighty-two, entitled,
a further supplement to the Act entitled, an Act
to incorporate the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad
Company, relating to alterations in the location of
the said road, are hereby continued in force, and
extended, so as to authorize the said Company to
alter the location of their said road, or any branch
thereof, in the State of Maryland, between Cam-
den Station in the city of Baltimore, and the west-
ern boundary of the State of Maryland, for the
purpose of dispensing with the use of inclined
planes and avoiding unnecessary curves, where
they occur on said road, or the branches thereof,
and in the exercise of the powers conferred upon the
said Company by the original Act of incorpo-
ration or conferred upon the said Company
by any supplement to said original Act, or
conferred by this Act, within the city of Bal-
