CHAPTER 117.

AN ACT for the benefit of the Trustees of the
Methodist Episcopal Church of Columbia Street
Station, in the city of Baltimore.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, It is represented to the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the title of the Trustees
of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Columbia
Street Station, in the city of Baltimore, to a cer-
tain lot of leasehold property on the north-east
corner of Ridgely and Hamburg Streets, in said
city, described in a deed of assignment from the
Sabbath School Society of Columbia Street Station,
in the city of Baltimore, to the said Trustees, dated
in the month of June, A. D., eighteen hundred
and sixty-five, and recorded in Liber, A. M., num-
ber two hundred and seventy-eight, folio three
hundred and fifty-nine, one of the Land Record
Books of Baltimore city aforesaid, is defective from
the circumstances that the charter of said Sabbath
School Society had expired by limitation previous
to the execution of said deed, whereby said lease-
hold property became vested in the State by es-
cheat; Therefore

Vested rights.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Mart/land, That all the right, title and interest
of the State in the leasehold property and improve-
ments described in the deed of assignment above
mentioned, be and the same is hereby vested in the
Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Co-
lumbia Street Station, in the city of Baltimore.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
