125. That upon the return of any assessment
made under any ordinance passed under the pre-
ceding section, the clerk of said town shall cause
a copy thereof to be published for thirty days in
one newspaper printed in said town.

AN ACT to amend the third section of article thir-
ty-three of the Code of Public General Laws,
relating to the Indigent Blind.
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the third section of article
thirty-three of the Code of Public General Laws,
relating to Indigent Blind, be and the same is
hereby repealed, and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:

3. A sum not exceeding nine thousand thou-
sand dollars shall be annually appropriated, to be
applied under the direction of the Governor, in
placing for instruction in the Maryland Institution
for the instruction of the Blind, or in some con-
venient institution established for the purpose,
such Indigent Blind persons of the age of nine
years and upwards, inhabitants of this State, and
the county or city from which they are recommend-
ed, as may be duly recommended to the Governor
by the county commissioners of each county, and
by the judges of the Orphans' court of Baltimore
city.
