CHAPTER 75.
AN ACT to repeal section thirty-one of article nine
of the Code of Public Local Laws, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the thirty-first section of arti-
cle nine, of the Code of Public Local Laws, be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as
to read as follows:

Repealed.
|
The terms of the Circuit court for Charles
county, shall commence at Port Tobacco on the
first Monday in May, and fourth Monday in Octo-
ber.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 76.

AN ACT authorizing the commissioners of Mont-
gomery county to deed a portion of the Court
House Square, in the town of Rockville, to Lewis
Shots.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the commissioners of Mont-
gomery county be, and they are hereby authorized
and empowered to convey by deed to Lewis Shots,
all that part of the original Court House Lot,
as described in a deed and plat recorded In Liber
P., folio five hundred and ninety-one and five
hundred and ninety-two, of the Land Records of
the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, in the
State of Maryland, which lies east of the following
three lines, viz: Beginning for the first line on
the south side of Montgomery Avenue, in the
town of Rockville, at a stone on the north-west
corner of the lot belonging to Lewis Shots, on
