AN ACT to incorporate the Maiden's Choice Pas-
senger Railway Company, with power to con-
struct a gravel road for general travel on the bed
of said road.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by f he General Assembly
of Maryland, That L. B. Calwell, Edward Whit-
temore, Joseph B. Brinkley, John Eshbaugh, Sam-
uel Wilhelm and Robert Fowler, are hereby ap-
pointed Commissioners to open books and receive
subscriptions to the capital stock of the Maiden's
Choice Passenger Railway and Gravel Road Com-
pany, hereby incorporated, and they or a majority
of them, shall within thirty days after the passage
of this Act, procure books which shall be opened
at such time or times, and place or places as they
may think proper, and in each of said books shall

be made the following entries: We, whose names
are hereunto subscribed, do promise to pay to the
President and Directors of the Maiden's Choice
Passenger Railway and Gravel Road Company,
the sum of ten dollars for each share of stock set
opposite our names, in such manner and propor-
tion, and at such times as may be determined by
the President and Directors of said Company, and
if any of the said Commissioners shall die or de-
cline to act, others may be appointed in their stead
by the remaining Commissioners.
