burial, and to cause the same to be surveyed and
laid off into such squares and lots for burial, and
in such manner as they may elect, and to dispose
of the same upon such terms, and subject to such
rules and regulations as they may appoint.

Proceeds to be
set apart.
|
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the proceeds of
the sale of said burial lot and all other revenues
arising from the management of the Cemetery
hereby authorized to be established according to
the rules and regulations which may be prescribed
in relation to burial therein shall be set apart by
the said electors for the payment of such interest
or dividend upon the stock debt as they may from
time to time declare, and to the protection and
improvement of the grounds, and the necessary
expenses of managing the same.

Transfer
book.
|
Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the shares of
stock subscribed and fully paid may be assigned or
transferred, subject to such conditions as the said
electors may prescribe, in a transfer book, to be
provided for that purpose.

Consent of
corporation.
|
Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That no street, lane,
alley, road, or canal, or public transit of any sort,
shall be made through the grounds hereby author-
ized to be laid off and set apart exclusively as a
Cemetery without the consent of the said corpora-
tion; provided, however, that the benefit of this
section shall not inure until the said Cemetery
shall have been actually established and substan-
tially enclosed.

Not subject
to taxation.
|
Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That the burial lots
in said Cemetery shall not be liable for the debts
of the lot holders, and the grounds dedicated ex-
clusively as a Cemetery or burial place, shall not
be subject to the taxation of any kind.

Misdemean-
or.
|
Sec. 7. And be it enacted, That any person who
shall wilfully destroy, mutilate, deface, injure or
remove any tomb, monument or grave stone, or
other structure placed in said Cemetery, or any
wall, fence or other enclosure, railing or work for
protection, or ornament, erected or set up in said
Cemetery, or shall wilfully cut, destroy or break,
or remove any tree, shrub or plant within the
limits within the said Cemetery, shall be considered
guilty of misdemeanor, and on conviction before
any Justice of the Peace of the State, may be
