Chapter 59.

AN ACT to pay Jacob Watts a sum of money er-

roneously paid by him into the Treasury.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he
|
 
|
is hereby authorized and directed to issue his war-
|

rant upon the Treasurer to pay to Jacob Watts the

sum of twenty-eight dollars and five cents, the same
|
 
|
having been erroneously paid by him into the treas-
|
 
|
ury, and its repayment being recommended by the
|
 
|
Comptroller and the Treasurer.
|
 
|
SEC. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
|

AN ACT granting the assent of the General As-

sembly of Maryland to a bequest made to the
|
 
|
Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church at
|
 
|
Middletown, Maryland, by Eli H. Hyatt, late of
|
 
|
Frederick county, deceased.
|
 
|
WHEREAS Eli H. Hyatt, late of Frederick county,
|
 
|
deceased, by his last will and testament, bearing
|
 
|
date the twenty-ninth day of November, in the year
|
 
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-nine, duly admitted
|
Preamble.
|
to probate and recorded in the office of the Regis-
|
 
|
ter of Wills of Frederick county, devised and be-
|
 
|
queathed to the Trustees of the Methodist Episco-
|
 
|
pal Church situated in Middletown, Maryland, and
|
 
|
to their successors in office for certain uses therein
|
 
|
named, the sum of five hundred dollars; now where-
|
 
|
fore —

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That the sanction of the General
|
 
|
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby
|

given, granted and declared to the above men-

tioned devise and bequest of the said Eli H. Hyatt,
|
 
|
deceased.
