Chapter 58.

 

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Woman's

 

Industrial Exchange of Baltimore city, so as to

 

allow an increase in the number of managers to -

 

forty-five.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland, That the charter of " The

 

Woman's Industrial Exchange of Baltimore city,"

 

a corporation incorporated under the provisions of

 

the general incorporation law of Maryland, be and

the same is hereby amended so as to provide that

amended.

said corporation shall be managed by such numbers

 

of managers, not exceeding forty-five nor less than

 

seven, as the by-laws of said corporation may pro-

 

vide, and that until the regular time for the election

 

of managers, as prescribed by said by-laws, the man-

 

agers of said corporation shall be the following, viz :

 

Mary N. Perry, Elizabeth R. Hopkins, Jane E.

 

White, Anne S. Tompkins, Mary Stow, Mary T.

 

King, Emma L. Atkinson, Margaret Atkinson,

 

Caroline Beacham, Nannie J. Bell, Mary Briscoe,

 

Susan B. Garey, Martha L. Garey, Helen M. Coale,

 

Mary Corner, Mary M. Eaton, Margaret H. Elliott,

Managers of

Elizabeth D. Woolsey Gilman, Sarah Appleton

corporation.

Goodenon, Caroline D. Hopkins, Susan Hiss, Bettie

 

A. Hopkins, Louisa G. Horintz, Ida Jones, Eliza-

 

beth T. King, Anne T. Kirk, Lilly T. Manley, Jen-

 

nie Mayer, Beata McDowell, Sarah H. Meredith,
