Chapter 57.

 

AN ACT to repeal chapter three hundred and

 

ninety-two of the laws passed at the January

 

session, eighteen hundred and eighty, entitled

 

" An Act to repeal section one cf chapter four

 

hundred and five of the laws passed at the Janu-

 

ary session, eighteen hundred and seventy-eight,

 

entitled ' An Act for the better protection of

 

Partridges, Woodcock, Pheasants and Rabbits in

 

Baltimore county,' " and to re-enact said chapter

 

with amendments.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

 

bly of Maryland. That chapter three hundred and

 

ninety-two of the laws passed at the January ses-

 

sion, eighteen hundred and eighty, entitled "An

 

Act to repeal section one of chapter four hundred

the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to

 

read as follows :

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That no person shall shoot, or in any manner

 

catch, kill or have in possession, in Baltimore county,

 

any partridge between the twenty-sixth day of

 

December, said day included, and the first day of

 

October next ensuing, in each and every year; nor

Not to shoot
or kill.

any woodcock between the first day of February

 

and the fifteenth day of June; nor any rabbit be-

 

tween the first day of January and the first day of

 

November; nor any pheasant between the first day

 

of January and the first day of September; nor

 

shall any person trap any partridge or destroy or

 

molest the eggs or nest of the said bird at any time

 

in said county.
