AN ACT to incorporate " The Woodmont Rod and
|
 
|
Gun Club."
|
 
|
WHEREAS an association has been formed under
|
 
|
the title of " The Woodmont Rod and Gun Club,"
|
 
|
having for its object the preservation of fish and
|

game in Washington county, and the enjoyment of

the sports of hunting and fishing; and whereas, ap-
|

plication has been made for an act of incorporation —
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That Alexander H. Evans, J.
|
 
|
M. Finker, Commodore Earl English, General Rich-
|
 
|
ard C. Drum, Frederick B. McGuire, Samuel H.
|
 
|
Kauffman, William C. McIntire, and such other
|
 
|
persons as now are or hereafter may be members of
|
 
|
said association, and their successors, be and they
|

are hereby created a corporation by the name of

" The Woodmont Rod and Gun Club," and by that

pear necessary or proper for conducting the concerns

appear proper, and may have, use and at pleasure
|
 
|
change a common seal, and generally may do any
|
 
|
act or thing necessary or proper to carry into effect
|
 
|
the provisions of this act and promote the design of
|
 
|
the corporation.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said corpora-
|
 
|
tion shall have power of purchasing and otherwise
|

applied by it for the uses of the corporation, as before

described, and to sell and dispose of the same, to be

to be held by said corporation at any one time shall

not exceed in clear annual value five thousand dollars.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
