Chapter 53.

AN ACT appropriating certain sums of money to
|
 
|
pay Joseph J. Harig, of Baltimore city, for nails
|
 
|
furnished to State Tobacco Warehouse Number 1
|
 
|
and State Tobacco Warehouse Number 2.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller be and he
|
 
|
is hereby authorized and directed to issue his war-
|
 
|
rant upon the Treasurer, to pay to Joseph J. Harig
|

issue warrant,
|
the sum of three hundred and forty-two dollars and
|
 
|
fifty cents, payment thereof being recommended by
|
 
|
the officers of the Treasury Department, being the
|
 
|
amount due him as follows, to wit: For nails fur-
|
 
|
nished to Tobacco Warehouse Number 1, one hun-
|
 
|
dred and seventy-two dollars; for nails furnished to
|
 
|
Tobacco Warehouse Number 2, one hundred and
|
 
|
seventy dollars and fifty cents.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
|

AN ACT to repeal section four hundred and sixty-
|
 
|
one of the act of eighteen hundred and eighty,
|
 
|
chapter four hundred and forty-six, relating to
|
 
|
live stock, and to re-enact the same with amend-
|
 
|
ments.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
 
|
bly of Maryland, That section four hundred and
|
 
|
sixty-one of the acts of January session, eighteen
|
Repealed and
|
hundred and eighty, chapter four hundred and forty-
|
re-enacted.
|
six, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-en-
|
 
|
acted, with an amendment, so as to read as follows:
|
 
|
SECTION 461. The said weighmaster shall, upon
|
 
|
any day in the week, except Sunday, weigh all live
|
 
|
stock that may be offered for weighing at the live
|
 
|
stock scales for that purpose, and shall give a cer-
|
 
|
