AN ACT to provide for the removal of the County

 

Seat of Charles county from Port Tobacco to La

 

Plata, in said county, if the qualified voters of

 

said county shall so determine, and to provide for

 

the erection of a Court-House and Jail at La Plata,

 

and the procuring of a site or sites for the same, and

 

authorizing the county commissioners of said

 

county to borrow money and issue bonds for the

 

payment of the same, for the purposes aforesaid ;

 

to levy taxes for the payment of the principal and

 

interest of said bonds; appointing an officer for

 

the disbursement of the same and for other pur-

 

poses.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
